Yves M. Verret, III

 

A Louisiana native and a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, Yves M. Verret, III, obtained his B.A. in Criminal Justice from Northeast Louisiana University, and subsequently entered the work force, prior to attending Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where he obtained his Juris Doctor. Upon completion of law school, Yves moved his family to Shreveport where he worked as a law clerk at the 1st Judicial District Court in Shreveport, Louisiana. 

Yves maintains a thriving private practice, focused on criminal defense, DUIs, family law, personal injury/motor vehicle accidents, as well as some oilfield contamination matters. Yves has experienced many successful outcomes for an ever-growing client base.  The Law Office of Yves M. Verret, III is located at 3985 Airline Drive in Bossier City, Louisiana 71111. 

 

Yves is a member of the American Bar Association, Louisiana State Bar Association, Shreveport Bar Association, Bossier Bar Association, Louisiana Association for Justice, Krewe of Justinian, and is also a member of the Marine Corp Association and National Rifle Association. He previously served as Chairman on the Board of Directors for the March of Dimes (Shreveport chapter) in addition to serving on the Easter Seals Board of Directors for the State of Louisiana. 

For his professional achievements and commitment to the betterment of Shreveport-Bossier City, Yves was honored as a member of Young Professional's Initiative's 40 Under 40 Class of 2012 by the Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce and Bossier Chamber of Commerce. He has also been recognized on numerous occasions in SB Magazine's annual "Top Attorneys" edition.

In his spare time, Yves enjoys spending time with his wife, Bridget, and son, Ethan, traveling, and giving back to his community through organizations such as March of Dimes and Easter Seals, and is an avid outdoorsman.
